Project Challenge
Horizon Flight Academy required a robust e-learning platform to support their rigorous training programs and enhance their students’ learning experiences. Central to this need was a custom ‘Free Training Plugin’ designed to facilitate exam practice. However, the initial development of this plugin was incomplete and failed to meet the academy’s standards, necessitating expert intervention.

- Moodle Hosting and Maintenance: Hosting Horizon’s Moodle training website and ensuring seamless major upgrades to keep the platform up-to-date and fully functional.
- Plugin Rescue and Enhancement: Completed and extended the development of the ‘Free Training Plugin,’ a critical tool for students to practice exam questions. The plugin leverages the question bank, allowing students to select categories, practice questions, and review their answers. They can retry incorrect or flagged questions, ensuring thorough preparation.
- Interactive Feedback System: Integrated a feedback functionality within the Free Training Plugin, enabling students to ask questions and seek further explanations. Feedback is directed to the office, which forwards it to the appropriate teacher for a response within Moodle, fostering an interactive and supportive learning environment.
- Ongoing Maintenance: Continuously maintained and improved the Free Training Plugin, ensuring it remains an effective and reliable tool for Horizon’s students.
